BeamCath®, was developed by a group of Swedish scientists from Umeå that today form the company’s scientific advisory board.
BeamCath® is a new system for position of the prostate during radiation therapy. BeamCath® consists of a special developed catheter with markers. These markers give fixed reference points for positioning of the moving organ, the prostate. This enables high precision radiation therapy of prostate cancer.
Beampoint launches a new unique goldmarker, Goldlock®, in March 2006. The goldmarker has a patented starshaped design.
