This compact bone densitometer is the latest generation of Hologic's QDR series. Its exclusive design, similar to that found on advanced CT scanners, utilises a high resolution detector array paired with true fan beam acquisition geometry.

This gives dual energy bone mineral density (BMD) measurements in spine, hip and forearm with unparalleled precision in just 90 seconds.

Dr Evans comments, "Having the two scanners operating side by side has had a significant impact on patient throughput and has already resulted in a dramatic reduction in patient waiting times for bone densitometry."
