LINACHECKImage

LINACHECK is an automatic measuring device that simultaneously measures dose, dose rate and irradiation time of your linear accelerator. Designed in full compliance with various national and international regulations. LINACHECK will accurately measure and record the photon and electron MU of your accelerator in Gy, Gy/min, and irradiation time in seconds.

QC6PLUSImage

Quick Check QC6Plus is a highly reliable, fast and very easy to use QC measurement device Designed to work in connection with our multichannel dosemeter MULTIDOS, or the QC6Plus display unit, the QC6Plus is ideally suited for the demanding measurements required by linear accelerators. Flatness, symmetry, energy stability and central beam dose are evaluated simultaneously.

EPID QC PhantomImage

Electronic Portal Imaging Devices (EPID) are used in radiation therapy to verify the patient's position in the radiation beam during treatment. EPIDs are intended to detect physiological structures of the patient and to refer to them to the photon beam's coordinate system. Regular quality checks of the EPIDs are therefore crucial to ensure constant image quality and thus a high safety level for the patient.

The EPID QC software package automatically detects the location of the test elements, performs all evaluations without further interference of the user, and displays the results by comparison with the baseline values.

The EPID QC Phantom includes a wide range of high-contrast test patterns to perform tests even of the most advanced EPIDs available. The analysis includes a separation of quantum noise caused by the detected photons, and noise generated in the EPID. The low-contrast device enables service personnel to adjust EPID brightness and contrast using well-established procedures, and without the need of additional test devices. The wide-range copper step wedges provide data to create absorption correction tables for dosimetry purposes.

IsoCheckImage

IsoCheck is a test object according to the German Standard DIN 6847-4 and other international regulations. It is used to check the isocenter geometry of linear accelerators. IsoCheck's etched alignment lines and cross-hairs make positioning of the test object by using the laser alignment beams very easy. Iso Check can then be loaded with an X-ray film which is locked in a fixed position while being irradiated by pencil beams under various angles of incidence. Yhe developed film clearly shows the difference between the mechanical and the radiation isocenter.

Features:

  • Test object according to the German Standard DIN 6847-4 and appropriate international regulations
  • Check of the consistent performance of linacs with respect to the isocenter geometry
  • Easy positioning

"Essen" QA CubeImage

Type 2965

The "Essen" cube Type 2965 is a useful tool for linear accelerators quality assurance. Constancy checks and isocenter geometry checks to compare radiation field and light field can be performed in a fast and easy way. The cube has double walls to hold films up 18x 24 cm in size and can position the film in 5 different directions. On all four sides of the cube it is possible to mark the center lines of the film by a needle.

Features:

  • Tool for quality assurance at linear accelerators for constancy and isocenter geometry checks to compare radiation field and light field

MoniCheckImage

MoniCheck is a quality assurance device for radiation therapy. Designed according to the German Standard DIN 6847, part 5, to perform constancy checks of the monitor calibration of the accelerators electron beams.

The device consists of an acrylic phantom with a chamber hole for a PTW Type 23364 or Type 31003, 0.3 cc ionization chamber. MoniCheck slides into the accelerators accessory holder, an ion chamber inserted, and an electron measurements. Adapters for other types of chambers are available on request.

Features:

  • Quality assurance device for radiation therapy according to DIN 6847, part 5
  • Constancy checks of the monitor calibration at medical electron beam accelerators

WedgeCheckImage

WedgeCheck is used to determine wedge angles of high energy photon beams and is suitable for either mechanical or virtual/dynamic wedge. The procedure is expedited if a dual channel electrometer and two ionization chambers are used. The wedge angle determined by WedgeCheck agrees to within +/- 1 degree with results obtained in accordance with IEC 976, 1989.

Features:

  • Determination of mechanical and virtual/dynamic wedge angles in high energy photon beams
  • Installation at the accessory tray of the accelerator for easy positioning of the inserted ion chambers at any gantry angle
  • System includes solid state phantom and software

QA Film HolderImage

  • Application:Constancy check of LINAC beam by irradiating a radiographic film
  • Design:Acrylic plate for fixation at the collimator of a LINAC, LINAC type has to be specified

Use:

A radiographic film, size 13cm x 18 cm or 18cm x 24cm is placed on the QA film holding device, the device is fixed to the LINAC collimator and a certain field size is irradiated to the film. After development, the film can be evaluated by a film densitometry system.

PosiCheckImage

With PosiCheck the source position within afterloading applicators can be checked. An applicator can be inserted into one of 7 guide rails depending on its diameter. Three adjustable stop positions for the applicator are available. By exposing an X-ray film the source position within the afterloading applicator can be determined easily.

Features:

  • Very easy to handle
  • Guide rails for appplicators with different widths
