If you have a syringe based CT or MRI injector, the Transflux® system can drastically improve your workflow and save on consumable costs (daily savings start after the 2nd or 3rd patient and increase significantly after that).
After connecting your normal syringes, the Transset® multi-use line set with patented safety zones takes the place of your normal patient line. The single use Transflux® patient line connects to this and is the only piece that needs to be replaced after each patient.
No rebuilding the pump, no purging air from syringes, just prime the new patient line and move onto the next patient.
The Transflux® system allows you to gain the benefits of a multi-use system without the investment in a new pump or additional space required. CT & MRI sets are tailor made for the modality (for instance, the MRI set has a filling system for 20ml vials)
Multiple patented safety features protect patients from harm whilst your team leverage the benefits of the Transflux® system.
Disconnect Feature:
The quick disconnect allows quick venous access in the event of an adverse reaction to contrast, but also protects the multi-use system from ambient contamination by sealing it until the next patient line is attached.
Twin Safety Zones:
The Transflux® features two one-way valves, which are separated by a fluid pressure interaction zone. This setup effectively blocks reflux from contaminated fluids, providing additional protection for the multi-use system.
