Most products are available in bilayer material, which combines the lower atomic weight of Antimony with the higher atomic weight of Bismuth (Opaque Fusion ® – Lead Free) or Lead (Opaque Action® – Low Lead)
The Brachii Sleeve™ is designed to provide protection to the sensitive tissues such as the shoulders, upper arms and axillae that may otherwise be exposed to x-ray radiation through the arm holes of even the best fitting lead apron.
Available in all material types and designed to fit under a lead apron, the sleeves are held in place by a thin, flexible vest that is sewn in a cooling fabric to provide extra comfort.
The Easy-Fix Apron™ frontal protection offers a number of options when it comes to weight distribution. You can adjust the entire weight yourself, distributing it across your shoulders and hips using the Velcro strips. This ensures

The all around protection Split Wrap™ has an opening in the back and in the sides, which gives great freedom of movement to the user. This ensures good air circulation and cools the back.
Split Wrap™ can be ordered with different lead equivalences in the front and in the back.
Easy-Drop Apron™ frontal protection has adjustable Velcro strips at the shoulders and hips, allowing the apron to be removed quickly and easily. The shoulder strips allow the length of this apron to be adjusted to give a better fit.
Easy to take on and off, the 3PU Apron ™ is designed with optimal infection control in mind. No pockets are fitted and the closure is via magnetic fasteners. The 3PU would be an ideal apron for portable x-ray.
